Chairman. Prof John Sheehan

John is a practising Chartered Town Planner and Registered Valuer. He is currently serving at the University of Technology Sydney, as Deputy Director, Asia-Pacific Centre for Complex Real Property Rights and also as Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Design, Architecture & Building. He has formerly served as President of the Australian Property Institute, where he is also a Life Fellow, and currently chairs the Joint Australian Property Institute NSW & QLD, Carbon Property Rights Committee. John has served as company Chairman since 1992 and as a Non-executive Director since 1987. John is also a member of Desane's Audit Committee and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety Committee.

Managing Director & CEO. Phil Montrone

Phil has served as Managing Director since the Company's incorporation in 1987. He has over thirty years experience in the construction and property industries, having developed many strong relationships and networks. Phil's previous appointments have been as director of a private group of companies as well as being a former board member of the Co-operative Federation of NSW and the Sydney Bicentennial Park Authority. He has also formerly served as President of the Police Community Youth Clubs Federation of NSW. Phil is also a member of Desane's Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety Committee.

Director & Company Secretary. John Bartholomew

John joined Desane in 1989 as Financial Controller and Company Secretary. On 24 May 2010 he was appointed as a Director. His role since 1989 has been extremely diverse, incorporating management roles in the property development, property management and financial management of the business. John is the Chairman of Desane's Risk Management & Audit Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee and the Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety Committee. John is an Associate of the CPA.

Chief Financial Officer. Jack Sciara

Jack joined Desane in 2001, has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and is an Associate Member of the National Institute of Accountants. His role in the Company is diverse and includes preparation and lodgement of Audited Financial Half Year and Year End Statements and accounts, lodgement of all ASX forms and announcements as well as assisting with re-financing company loans. Jack is a registered Tax Agent.

Property & Asset Manager. Rick Montrone

Rick has a degree in Economics from Sydney University. Since joining Desane in 2003, Rick has been responsible for the Group’s property asset management, covering property acquisition, strategic planning, cost control, budgeting and the leasing and maintenance of properties. He has developed a strong network in the property asset management industry.

Administration & Executive Assistant. Sandra Agapiou

Sandra has been with Desane since 1987. She performs a number of critical tasks within the Group, namely office management, client relationships, and assisting the Group’s Managing Director, Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer.
